Louisbourg Resort Golf & Spa

The Louisbourg Resort Golf & Spa resort which is currently under construction in the immediate vicinity of Louisburg and Sydney will have a total area of approx. 10,000,000 m² and provide a unique retreat of world-class standard.

Located on the approx. 3-kilometre long “Grand Lake”, the avowed aim of the resort is to provide a full range of facilities of top-class level. A spa zone with a total area of approx. 2500 m², attractive restaurants, shops, a private lakeside marina, tennis and squash courts, gym, a medical centre and an international conference centre are just some of the amenities available to visitors to the resort. The sea and beaches can be reached in just a few minutes.

The Louisbourg Resort Golf &  Spa centres around the golf courses designed by six-time major winner Nick Faldo, an 18-hole championship course entitled “The Fortress” and an 18-hole Par 3 course, which can be played by all handicap classes. These courses have been designed to make the most of the location’s natural resources. Most of the fairways have already been completed and the courses are expected to be fully ready for play by 2012/2013.

However, Louisbourg Resort Golf & Spa will also tread new ground in terms of resort technology. The use of solar heating and wind energy, prize-winning sewage systems and underground cable routing for internet, telephone, VOIP and HDTV make this resort one of the most environmentally friendly addresses on the east coast of North America – a truly “green” resort.

The resort’s infrastructure has already been installed so that as from 2009, investors will be able to choose between only around 420 plots (approx. 4.000 m² each) which can be developed with chalets in top construction quality and with first-class technical appointments. It is not least this small-plot development scheme which underlines the exclusive standards of Louisbourg Resort Golf & Spa and is one of the key criteria for this investment, which has outstanding potential for increasing in value.
